“南方的才子北方的将，陕北出得好石匠。”这石匠，说的就是绥德县以四十里铺镇为主的绥德石匠。一块普通常见的石头，或巴掌大，或几米十几米见方，在石雕艺人手中，锤一锤、凿一凿，就会变成一件精美的艺术品。鲍武文便出生在这里。1954年2月，鲍武文出生于陕西省绥德县四十里铺镇鲍王家沟村。他出身贫寒，从小勤劳好学，13岁开始拜师学艺，1970年开始独揽石雕活路，1980年开始创办“鲍武文石雕厂”一直发展至今，成为“绥德县武文石业有限公司”。1995年他被联合国教科文组织、中国民间艺术家协会授予“中国民间工艺美术家”称号。2022年6月，鲍武文成为国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目石雕——绥德石雕的国家级代表性传承人。

Suide is the enrichment place of stone carvings in Northern Shaanxi and enjoys the reputation of "the town of stone carvings". Walking in the streets of Suide, you can often see different kinds of stone works of art. Stone carving is one of the most representative cultural symbols of Suide, and also the pride of Suide people.

"The south has wit, the north has general , and a good mason always comes from Northern Shaanxi."  The "good mason" refers to the Suide stonemasons who are mostly from Sishilipu . A common stone, or palm size, or a few meters square, in the hands of stone carving artists, will become a fine work of art after hammering and chiseling. Bao Wuwen was born here. He was born in Baowangjiagou Village, Sishilipu Town, Suide County, Shaanxi Province in February 1954. Born poor, he was diligent and studious.He began to learn it from 13 years old and began to do the work alone in 1970. Then he began to establish the "Bao Wuwen Stone Carving Factory" in 1980 and it has been developing to this day, and now it becomes "Suide County Wuwen Stone Industry Company Limited". In 1995, he was awarded the title of "Chinese Folk Arts and Crafts Artist" by UNESCO and China Folk Artists Association. In June 2022, Bao Wuwen became the national representative inheritor of Suide stone carving, a representative item of national intangible cultural heritage.

从绥德县城出发，沿210国道一路向北可至四十里铺镇。2022年7月24日，本团队两位成员按照计划去往绥德县四十里铺镇的石雕厂进行实地考察和采访。在路途中，我们看到210国道两旁布满了生意兴隆的石雕作坊，地上立着龙柱，站着石人石佛，其中最大最常见的则是石狮子。

Starting from Suide County, follow the 210 National Road to the north to Sishilipu town. On July 24, 2022,Two members of our team went to the stone carving factory in Sishilipu Town for field investigation and interview as planned. On the way, we saw the 210 National Road lined with thriving stone carving workshops. The ground stood the dragon pillar, the stone man and the stone Buddha. The largest and most common of them are stone lions.

紧接着，我们来到了绥德县武文石业有限公司进行采访，这里也被称为绥德石雕传习所。进入石雕厂，首先映入眼帘的就是一大批石材和一个大型吊车。在厂内工人的带领下，我们往接待室走去，可以看到，两侧都是一些精美的石雕作品。

Then, we came to Suide County Wuwen Stone Industry Company Limited for an interview, which was also known as Suide Stone Carving Training Institute. Entering the stone carving factory, the first thing that caught the eyes is a large number of dimension stones and a large crane.Under the leadership of a factory worker, we went to the reception room, on both sides were some exquisite stone works.

最后，我们来到了他的办公室对他进行了采访。在采访的过程中，他说道，公司的主要业务是为花园、公园和一些外地厂家等提供大量的石雕作品。他还为我们介绍了不同的石雕不同的使用场景和用处，比如，石亭一般在公园和花园为游客提供休息场地，石佛像通常用于寺庙，而石牌楼一般用于公园进行观赏。此外，他也为我们说明了现代石狮和传统石狮的区别。现代狮子一般用于银行门口，而传统狮子一般作为吉祥物或者在家户门口起镇宅辟邪的作用。此外，他说道，绥德石雕作为一个非物质文化遗产，我们需要好好传承它，并且把它发展出一个新的样貌。他说绥德石雕目前发展很好，能够吸引来很多外地游客前来观赏。而且石雕行业在未来的前景也不错，现在绥德石雕已经出名，也有很多外地的厂家主动来联系订单。

Finally, we went to his office to interview him. During the interview, he said that the company's main business was to provide a large number of stone works for gardens, parks and some out-of-town manufacturers .He also introduced us to the different use scenes and uses of different stone carvings.For example, stone pavilions were generally used in parks and gardens for tourists to rest, stone Buddha statues were usually used in temples, and stone archways were generally used in parks for viewing. In addition, he also explained the difference between modern stone lions and traditional stone lions. The modern lions were generally used in front of the bank, while the traditional lions were generally used as a mascot or at the door of the family to ward off evil spirits.What’s more, he said, Suide stone carvings, as an intangible cultural heritage, needed to be well inherited and developed into a new look.He also said that Suide stone carving was well developed and can attract a lot of tourists from other places to come and enjoy it. And the stone carving industry had a good prospect in the future. Now Suide stone carving has become more and more famous, and there are many other manufacturers who take the initiative to contact orders.

如今，绥德的石狮子遍布全国各地，还远销日本、新加坡、马来西亚、美国等国家。走进绥德县城，到处都可感受到石雕艺术的博大和厚重。

作为当地最具代表性的非物质文化遗产，绥德石雕通过产业化发展，更好地融入了现代市场，既保持了传统的手工艺特色，又绽放出新鲜的生命活力。这里的石雕艺人们，正携手雕刻着更美好的生活。
